Fall is the perfect time to refocus on your health and wellness goals before the end of the year sneaks up on you. Habits you put in place now will carry you into the new year feeling stronger and more energetic—and there’s no need to wait! Here are some ways we can help:
Personal Training
Thomas, one of our new trainers, is currently working with several members to provide tailored, effective personal workouts, helping to motivate and be an accountability partner. You can call or email Cathy or Thomas to set up a free 30-minute no-sweat consultation and learn more about the AYMC’s personal training packages and benefits. Let’s fill up his calendar with sessions to help you reach your health and wellness goals!
Strength Training Class
Thomas is leading a strength training class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm, utilizing a variety of exercises and equipment, with a splash of cardio. Join the small, supportive group that has been gathering on the walking track to build muscle, get their heart rates going and boost their overall fitness.
New Yoga Class
Discover calm, flexibility, and balance in our newest class, designed to refresh both body and mind, on Mondays at 2pm beginning on October 13!
Workouts of the Week
If you can’t commit to a scheduled class, Thomas will be posting fresh upper- and lower-body workouts each week on the whiteboards located in the fitness center and along the walking track—perfect for quick inspiration or an extra push. This is perfect for anyone who wants to exercise but needs some direction and a plan when they walk into the fitness center.
No matter your fitness level, the AYMC has something to help you finish the year strong. We now open at 6:00am Monday–Friday to offer even more opportunities to develop healthy habits this fall!
