MidWeek Classic: “Summer One Reads”
Fellowship Hall
MidWeek Classic will explore two Summer One Read books: Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman and Life Together by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I will lead the discussion on Thurman’s work on September 24 and October 1. Jonathan Brown will lead a class on the biography of Bonhoeffer on October 8, and Carol McEntyre will teach on themes from Life Together on October 15. Pre-reading is not required—all are invited!

“How to Have Difficult Conversations” led by Matt Rollins
Media Center
How do we have tough conversations about things that matter? Matt Rollins will lead a discussion group based on the JustFaith civil dialogue series, which empowers people of faith to navigate disagreement in a healthier way, whether to engage social issues or in personal relationships.

“Watercolors with Patrick” with Patrick Bairefoot
AYMC Lobby
Back by popular demand! Have you ever wanted to paint but thought you couldn’t? Take a few nights and impress yourself by learning to paint with Patrick Bairefoot. We will laugh (and not at our work!) and learn the basics of watercolor painting. All materials are provided. Limited to 20 participants. Guarantee your spot by emailing me at camille.loomis@firstbaptistgreenville.com.
