This Sunday, join us at 9:15am for a morning of faith formation and worship led by Dr. Jennifer Bashaw. Dr. Bashaw will be with us throughout the morning, beginning with a special Sunday School class in the Fellowship Hall centered around how to interpret the Bible. All classes are invited to join this informative and educational class! She will conclude her time with us in morning worship at 10:30am as our guest proclaimer.

Jennifer Garcia Bashaw (Ph.D., Fuller Seminary) is Associate Professor of New Testament and Christian Ministry at Campbell University in North Carolina. She has a passion for teaching the Bible on a lay level and contributes social media content to outlets such as Baptist News Global and The Bible for Normal People, where she is a nerd-in-residence. Dr. Bashaw is an ordained American Baptist minister who enjoys preaching as well as training and resourcing pastors. She is the author of Scapegoats: The Gospel through the Eyes of Victims; John for Normal People: A Guide through the Drama and Depth of the Fourth Gospel; and Serving Up Scripture: Interpreting the Bible for Yourself and Others (coming January 2026).
