First Baptist Greenville family, what a truly joyous Easter Sunday we shared! From the early morning sunrise service around the fire—complete with ringing bells—to the family garden service accompanied by guitar, and finally the glorious 10:30 Sanctuary service, each gathering offered its own unique beauty.

The music was undoubtedly a highlight of the day. One of my favorite moments came during the Sanctuary service when the phenomenal Sanctuary Choir lifted their voices in the Easter anthem—and the children joined in with egg shakers on every “Alleluia.” Their joyful participation, attentively timed and full of energy, added a delightful layer to our worship. It was a beautiful reminder of how our youngest members are actively engaged in our life together.

Another favorite part of the day was the joyful hum of conversations, before, during and after each service. In the hallways, in the Narthex, and outside on the church grounds, people greeted one another with hugs and laughter, celebrating both the resurrection and the gift of community.

Thank you to everyone who made this Easter so meaningful. Christ is risen indeed!
