Our partner church, First Haitian Wesleyan Church in Fountain Inn, assists their church members and others in the Haitian community in the Upstate who have been affected by job layoffs and other financial hardships. We are helping to replenish their food pantry. First Baptist members of the joint committee between our church and theirs (the First and First Committee) have already delivered two grocery donations.

Please bring donations of the following staples and dry goods to the church Reception Area during the month of August.
• Rice (white or brown)
• Dry beans or canned beans (black, kidney, pinto)
• Pasta and pasta sauce
• Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, peas)
• Canned fruit (in juice, not syrup if possible)
• Canned tuna or chicken
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Instant oatmeal
• Bread

In addition, the church is always accepting canned fruit for United Ministries and canned pasta for the Mission Backpack program. As always, thank you for your continued support.
