FBG’s commitment to community engagement is sustained through long-term relationships. The church partners with organizations and maintains affiliations that reflect shared values, theological commitments, and a desire to work collaboratively for the common good.
These relationships are overseen by the Partnerships and Affiliations Committee in coordination with church leadership.
FBG partners with churches and ministry organizations in shared work and mutual support through three councils:

FBG works alongside nonprofit organizations through volunteer engagement, financial support, and grant funding. These partnerships address needs related to housing, food access, education, youth support, justice, and community care. The council helps to award grants through the Faith Fund, recommend other nonprofit support to the committee, and plan Foundation Sunday to celebrate our Foundation grant partnerships.
The Partnerships and Affiliations Committee reviews and maintains FBG’s affiliations with a wide range of Baptist, ecumenical, educational, and advocacy organizations, including:
Each year, the grants subcommittee receives funding requests, makes funding decisions, and distributes funds for ministry in the following calendar year. In 2025, funding was provided through the Foundation for a total of $118,583.
