First Baptist Greenville

Serve

Serving is one of the ways faith becomes visible. What begins in worship carries into classrooms, neighborhoods, partner congregations, and community organizations across Greenville and beyond.

Love in Action: From Service to Justice

Some serve by packing food through Mission Backpack or volunteering at the Project Host soup kitchen. Others join JustFaith groups to explore poverty, racial justice, or immigration. Some participate in Habitat builds, Inasmuch Days, or advocacy efforts with GOAL. Many contribute through churchwide collections, the Faith Fund, and the Lula Whilden Offering, which support long-term nonprofit partnerships.

Community engagement at FBG is not one program but a shared practice. It includes hands-on service, learning and dialogue, justice work, and sustained partnerships with churches and organizations locally and globally.

Whether you are looking for a one-time opportunity or a deeper commitment, there are many ways to take a next step.
