In less than two months, the Youth Family will have begun its High School Mission Trip to Puerto Rico. Over the last several months, the Youth Family has learned how to practice healthy missions. Guest speakers have included Ellen Sechrest and Missy Ward Angalla, who used their experience and expertise to describe what good missions should look like. We engaged in conversation with one another about what good and bad missions look like, as well as mapped out all the gifts and abilities we are taking with us. We have learned, and learned, and learned. Now we are nearly ready to put what we have learned into practice. First Baptist Greenville, we cannot do it without you!

Several weeks ago, you read an article in The Branch explaining our need for Prayer Partners and a request that you prayerfully consider being one. This commitment includes agreeing to pray for your partner every day, as well as writing one note per day that your partner can read while on mission. We also ask that you provide a small travel-size care package for your partner. You can commit by following this link:

Once completed, you will receive an email in May with detailed information about your commitment, who your prayer partner is, and the specifics about the items that will be going into your prayer partner package. The Youth Staff are incredibly excited about this opportunity, and we thank you for your willingness to walk alongside our amazing youth.
