First Baptist Greenville

We are so proud of the AYMC and invite you to TRY us out for FREE for the whole month of January! We are always working to improve the quality and quantity of the programs the AYMC offers its members, so below is a list of what we currently offer, including some brand-new opportunities:

Fab & Fit Zoom Class—Mittie Taylor’s beloved virtual workout class meets live on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings at 7:00am. Roll out of bed, pick up some weights, and join these women 50+ as they build muscle and stay active together. Members may request the private Zoom link from AYMC staff.

Yoga Nidra—Doug Kawakami, a highly skilled and experienced yoga instructor, leads this class on Mondays at 2:00pm and concludes with the deeply relaxing practice of yoga nidra. This is ideal for anyone seeking healthy ways to relax and rejuvenate.

Strength Squad—Led by our marvelous personal trainer who specializes in CrossFit, Thomas, this small-group class focuses on building strength through functional exercises using dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX cables, and more. Join the core group enjoying this workout on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00pm.

Personal Training—If you are looking for the support, encouragement, and accountability of a personal trainer, Thomas Stroud is incredible. He offers a free, no-commitment 30-minute consultation so you can decide if personal training is right for you. Call the AYMC for more information or email thomasstroud67@gmail.com.

Pickleball Crew—Curious about pickleball but haven’t had the chance to try it? Our Pickleball Crew meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00am–1:00pm and welcomes players of all levels to open play. A great workout with great friends.

Senior Exercise—This longtime favorite meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00am. This full-body workout offers enthusiastic instructors and a fun, friendly core group of exercisers. Their energy is infectious and it’s a great way to connect and get healthy.

Chair Yoga—Anna and Paula are patient, gentle instructors of this yoga class designed as an entry point to yoga’s health and wellness benefits. Poses may be adapted for standing or sitting rather than a floor mat. Join them Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:15am.

Afternoon Yoga—This late-afternoon yoga class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:00pm and is led by favorite Angeli Leal. It’s just what the body needs after a long day and focuses on improving flexibility and strength.
