Join us on Wednesdays for MidWeek Missions & More from 9am to 2pm when our Youth Family is in town. All youth are welcome to participate in a mission project, enjoy lunch together and attend a youth bible study. This weekly gathering provides a consistent opportunity for our youth to connect with each other and the community while growing in faith. We also invite our high school graduates to join us for college nights this summer, and there will be plenty of other youth events happening throughout the summer, as well. Don’t miss out on the chance to connect with our church family and deepen your faith! Watch for our Summer Calendar to be published in the next couple of weeks!

Introducing Our Summer Youth Mentoring Team (YMT)
Our Youth Family enjoys our Youth Mentoring Team during the summer months to assist with planning and implementing summer youth activities. Their primary focus is on building and strengthening relationships within our Youth Family. The program is designed to provide an opportunity for college students to identify strengths, gifts, interests and abilities; invest in this Youth Ministry and its members; and help create a sense of trust, respect and bond between our youth and youth leaders. We are excited to introduce the 2024 YMT members!

Clemson University
I’m currently a first-year student at Clemson University double-majoring in History and Religious Studies. I love reading, going to coffee shops with my best friend, going on drives, and watching thrillers! I’m so excited to be a part of the Youth Mentoring Team because that means I get to spend more time with my friends in the youth group, and I’ll also get to encourage them to learn more about themselves and how they can make a difference in their community. I hope to help make this summer a great experience for the youth!
Zeke Barton
University of South Carolina
I am studying social work, psychology, and dance. Currently, I aspire to pursue a career in social work and hopefully work for the Department of Social Services. Outside of education, I love international music and classical ballet. To date, I love 80s Japanese hits, and my favorite ballet is Giselle. First Baptist Greenville means everything to me, as I was born and raised here, so I look forward to giving back to the community that has always been there for me. I recall all of the mission trips and retreats that the church gave me the opportunity to embark on, and I hope to be able to assist in supplying the youth with those same precious moments. I am both excited and honored to be able to work with and get to know the youth group this summer.
