You won’t want to miss our April Lunch & More. Because of Good Friday, we had to change our gathering to April 17, so mark your calendars. We will be priveledged to have author Pat R. Scales at FBG to lead a discussion on book banning.

“It’s a Bug’s World”
Rick Huffman, founder of Earth Design will present, It’s a Bug’s World: Embracing Native Plants for Thriving Landscapes. We are excited to bring him in for our Lunch & More crowd to help us better understand the importance of native plants and learn how these plants can transform our landscape into a haven for pollinators and wildlife.

Roadrunners Events
April 16th
Tour of Mushroom Mountain
You won’t need a truffle pig to find these mushrooms, but this tour is guaranteed to amaze you with all the magical things mushrooms can do. Join us Thursday, April 16 as our Roadrunners step into the hidden world of fungi with a Mushroom Mountain Farm Tour!
The cost for this adventure is $12, plus money for lunch.

Boat Tour of Lake Jocassee
$45 per person. Limited number of spaces available.
The Roadrunners are offering a beautiful boat tour of Lake Jocassee led by an area naturalist for our May outing.
We will plan to have lunch after the tour, and to return to first Baptist by 3:30 PM.
Holy Rollers Events
May 12th
Holy Rollers Trip to Strawberry Hill
We look forward to bringing back one of this group’s favorite trips as we were not able to go last year. The bus will leave First Baptist at 10:00 a.m. and plan to return by 2:30 p.m. We will eat lunch at the Café and shop at the produce shed afterwards for the first fruits of the season.

We had a request from some of our EA members to have a Line Dancing night, and I am happy to report, our very own Kyle Juresich has agreed to lead us in a fun evening, focused on learning to “Boot, Scoot’n Boogie,” Engaged Aging style.
The cost for dinner is $10.
