A big thank you to our congregation for your generous donations in April to help Pendleton Place with the spring refresh of their bedrooms and bathrooms!
For the month of May, we will assist the Phillis Wheatley Community Center. Their mission is to “collaborate with community partners to provide the tools and resources to empower all individuals, with a special focus on those from underserved communities, to achieve upward mobility and self-sufficiency.” First Baptist Greenville will be collecting food donations and other items for the Hattie Duckett Food Pantry. This emergency food pantry, located on the PWCC campus, offers non-perishable items for urgent food insecurity. It is open once per month to each individual or family who needs it. They also offer toiletries as donations allow. For more information about the Phillis Wheatley Community Center, please visit philliswheatleysc.org.
As always, First Baptist Greenville also continues to accept donations of canned fruit for United Ministries and canned pasta for Mission Backpack throughout the year. Thank you for your generosity.
