10:30AM SANCTUARY | 6:00PM FERNWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH DINING ROOM
Ryan Madora, bass guitarist, and her husband, singer-songwriter Craig Haller, will provide music in our morning worship service then travel to Fernwood Baptist in Spartanburg for an evening coffeehouse performance. Since moving to Nashville in 2012, Ryan has worked with some of Music City’s most talented artists and producers, including Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots, Pat McLaughlin, Alicia Michilli and many others, touring with guitarist Robben Ford to promote his new album this year. She has backed up artists such as Garth Brooks, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and Marren Morris. She has served as Musical Director for the annual “Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots Million Dollar Show at The Ryman” to benefit St. Jude’s and has made appearances on the 3rd-5th seasons of the TV show “Nashville.” In addition to all of this, she is an avid educator and writes columns for the online bass magazine, No Treble.
Although singer-songwriter and universe observer, Craig Haller, is based in Nashville, Tennessee, his musical ideas pull from worldly travels, an affinity for the Colorado landscape of his childhood, and the diverse nature of his artistic interests. A thoughtful lyricist, multi-instrumentalist and studio dweller, his compositions are like fresh Americana with alternative rock, soulful instrumentalism, and nuanced production. He prefers to shape musical moments in thoughtful and interesting ways, saying, “I love the deep cuts. They sometimes lack immediate accessibility but the effort is rewarded with value and longevity. Attention stimulates growth in the garden of the mind, and truth can be found wherever patience is planted. My truth lives in the music I make.” After self-releasing various projects over the past decade, his new musical offering is a collection of singles that will be digitally released as a playlist entitled The New Album that he and Ryan co-produced.
