Celebrate the Joy of Christmas and the New Year at First Baptist Greenville!
The Christmas season is a perfect time to invite friends, neighbors, coworkers and family who might be looking for a church family to join us for worship. We have two special services coming up that you do not want to miss:

Candlelight Worship Service: Lessons and Carols
On Sunday, December 22, at 6:30pm, we will reflect on the Christmas story through scripture and song. This meaningful tradition offers a moment of peace and beauty during the busy holiday season.

Family-Friendly Christmas Eve Worship
Join us on Tuesday, December 24, at 5:00pm for a service designed for all ages. This is a joyful opportunity for everyone to gather and celebrate the birth of Christ!
Both services are wonderful opportunities to share the joy of Christmas with others. I hope you will take this chance to invite someone new to experience the love of Christ with us.

Year-End Giving: A Season of Generosity
As we approach the close of 2024, we find ourselves slightly behind in meeting our offering goals for the year. The Christmas season is a time of sharing God’s blessings with loved ones and friends—why not include First Baptist Greenville on your Christmas gift list?

Year-end giving is a vital way to support our church’s ministries and further God’s work in the world. Every contribution helps sustain the essential programs and ministry that make a real difference in people’s lives. Thank you for being a community that gives so faithfully and generously. Together, we can reach our 2024 financial goals.
Please make your special year-end contribution by December 31. Your support matters—thank you for investing in First Baptist’s life and ministry!

Upcoming Worship Highlights
Sunday, December 29—Simeon’s Song
As we conclude our Songs of Advent series, join us for a special service at 10:30am. Kyle Matthews will preach on Simeon’s Song from Luke 2. Please note that Sunday School and childcare will be unavailable that day.

Sunday, January 5 – Epiphany Celebration
We’ll mark the beginning of the new year with a churchwide breakfast at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by worship at 10:30am. Children and youth are invited to participate in a beautiful procession of lights to begin the service. Please note that there will be no Sunday School or childcare for this service. You can register for the breakfast at https://firstbaptistgreenville.com/epiphany-breakfast/

We look forward to celebrating this holy season and the start of 2025 together. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! —Carol
