Youth Graduate Sunday
On Sunday, May 16, we will celebrate and honor the Class of 2027 — high school, college, and graduate school graduates! Please follow the steps below to ensure we have all photos & information necessary to celebrate your graduate.
*All Graduates submit a photo (high school, college, grad school). Photos will be published in our church newsletter and displayed on a bulletin board outside Carol’s office. Requirement: 5×7 high resolution.
Graduate Sunday Schedule
9:00 a.m. – Graduate Breakfast (drop-in for all grads and their families)
All Graduates and their families are invited to share breakfast with the youth in the AYMC Terrace Level.
10:30 a.m. – Worship Service Recognition
All Graduates will process in with caps & gowns (if applicable), be recognized individually, and receive a gift.
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – High School Graduate Luncheon for HS Grads & their Families – Fellowship Hall – $15 per person | Graduates eat free.
In this registration, please register your graduate, your family, and any additional guests (extended family members or friends) who will be joining your lunch table. At the bottom of this registration form, make sure to check the box for “Additional Items (family members of a graduate)” “Check here if joining us for lunch. ($15.00)” This will ensure you are charged correctly.
Publicity, Newsletter & Photos – Grad Photo (All Graduates) & Video Submissions (HS grads) – Due April 11
1. Newsletter & Bulletin Board Photo (All Graduates)
Every graduate (high school, college, and grad school) must submit a recent photo for:
- Publication in The Branch
- Display on the bulletin board outside Carol’s office
Photo Requirements:
- At least 5×7
- High-resolution quality
- This does not have to be a formal graduation photo
If needed, you may bring a physical photo to the church office to be scanned and returned.
2. Video Montage (High School Graduates Only)
A special video montage will be shown during breakfast and lunch.
Please submit digital photos, including:
- 1 baby photo
- 8–10 photos from various ages
- Any group photos (VBS, Children’s Ministry, Fall Retreat, Unidiversity, Youth Ministry, etc.)
Submit all montage photos to Mary Carol by April 11.
Graduate Recognition Sunday has always been a cherished and meaningful day at First Baptist Greenville. We look forward to celebrating this important milestone with you!
Please be sure to:
1) Register your graduate (high school, college, and grad school)
2) Submit your graduate photo (high school, college, and grad school)
3) Turn in montage photos (high school only)
4) RSVP for high school celebration lunch (hs grads and their families and guests) please pay $15/person for all family members; graduate eats Free.
