Realm is FBG’s updated church member database, replacing Engage First and the ChurchLife app.
Many find Realm’s online directory invaluable for locating contact information, putting faces with names, and connecting families. To get started, you must first create your Realm login before trying to access the Connect app.
When you create a login, your name and photo (if uploaded) will be visible in the directory. You can, however, choose how much personal information to share.
How to Update Privacy Preferences
You can update privacy settings in the web version of Realm. If you have an iPhone, you can also update privacy settings in the Connect app.
To update via the web:
1. Sign in at onrealm.org/firstbaptistgreenville.
2. Click your name in the upper-right corner and select Privacy.
3. Choose your name or a family member’s name.
4. Select a privacy option or use Custom Privacy to set field-by-field preferences.
5. Click Save.
To update via the Connect app (iPhone ONLY):
1. Tap your photo in the top corner.
2. Select Manage Account to access privacy settings.
Privacy Settings Explained
• Anyone in the church—Everyone with a Realm login can see this information (not available for children under 18).
• Leaders & group/serving team members—Visible only to members of your groups, group leaders and church staff.
• Leaders—Visible to group leaders and church staff.
• Users with Permission—Visible only to church staff.
