The Bridge Class

College-aged through 20s
Second Thursdays @ 6 PM on the terrace level of the AYMC

The Bridge group meets on the terrace level of the AYMC every second Thursday of the month at 6 PM. We are currently studying what it means to live with a “kingdom ethic” as college students and young adults. These discussions range from how we care for the environment to how we advocate for those in need.

The Bridge Class seeks to bring together all facets of young adulthood: whether you are college-age, a college student, a young professional, newly married, or simply learning what it means to be working in the world and what “adulting” looks like, The Bridge has a place for you. All are welcome and all are invited to learn what it is to fellowship, live life, and serve God in the unique places and positions that we find ourselves in. Let’s cross this bridge together.

About Our College Ministry

College students are important to the life and ministry of First Baptist Greenville! Whether you grew up here or you are here for school, we would love to help you find community and belonging. While we offer events specifically for college-aged students during holiday and summer breaks, The Bridge brings our college-aged students and young adults together for regular fellowship and biblical discussion throughout the year. Browse through the calendar below and let us help you plug into the life and ministry of First Baptist Greenville.

Academic Scholarships

Scholarships are available for undergrad and graduate students.

The Scholarship Committee of First Baptist Greenville serves as the primary recipient of gifts from generous church members and friends, or by their heirs as memorials for loved ones, who have left funds to assist students in their education. The committee exists to evaluate qualified individuals who are church members and/or friends of church members seeking financial assistance in pursuing an undergrad or seminary degree by granting them academic scholarships.

First Baptist has four primary distribution funds from which academic scholarships may be awarded, each of which was established with its own criteria. For questions concerning applications please contact Sarah Carter.
