The Bridge Class seeks to bring together all facets of young adulthood: whether you are college-age, a college student, a young professional, newly married, or simply learning what it means to be working in the world and what “adulting” looks like, The Bridge has a place for you. Scholarships are available for undergrad and graduate students.
The Scholarship Committee of First Baptist Greenville serves as the primary recipient of gifts from generous church members and friends, or by their heirs as memorials for loved ones, who have left funds to assist students in their education. The committee exists to evaluate qualified individuals who are church members and/or friends of church members seeking financial assistance in pursuing an undergrad or seminary degree by granting them academic scholarships.
First Baptist has four primary distribution funds from which academic scholarships may be awarded, each of which was established with its own criteria. For questions concerning applications please contact Sarah Carter.
