Fellowship and Coffee

The Bridge Class meets on Sunday mornings in the Media Center between 9:15 am and 10:15 am. This is an informal time of fellowship, catch up, and of course, coffee. No other agenda other than getting to know one another better and building relationships together.

Cooperative Student Fellowship

Our church partners with five other area churches and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina to minister with college students through a collegiate ministry called the Cooperative Student Fellowship. CSF meets at Furman University on Thursday evenings during the school year. Any area college student is welcome to attend.

The Bridge Class

College through 20’s
Sundays at 9:15am in the Media Center

The Bridge Class meets on Sunday mornings in the media center between 9:15 am and 10:15 am. This is an informal time of fellowship, catch up, and of course, coffee. No other agenda other than getting to know one another better and building relationships together.

Throughout churches in the United States, a gap exists between those whom have just graduated high school and those who are beginning to have children. This gap generally comprises ages 18-30, and here at First Baptist Greenville we want to be intentional about filling that gap.

The Bridge Class seeks to bring together all facets of young adulthood: whether you are college-age, a college student, a young professional, newly married, or simply learning what it means to be working in the world and what “adulting” looks like, The Bridge has a place for you. All are welcome and all are invited to learn what it is to fellowship, live life, and serve God in the unique places and position that we find ourselves. Let’s cross this bridge together.

Academic Scholarships

Scholarships are available for undergrad and graduate students.

The Scholarship Committee of First Baptist Greenville serves as the primary recipient of gifts from generous church members and friends, or by their heirs as memorials for loved ones, who have left funds to assist students in their education. The committee exists to evaluate qualified individuals who are church members and/or friends of church members seeking financial assistance in pursuing an undergrad or seminary degree by granting them academic scholarships.

First Baptist has four primary distribution funds from which academic scholarships may be awarded, each of which was established with its own criteria. For questions concerning applications please contact Sarah Carter.
