A little over a year ago, our Engaged Aging ministry, with the help of Ralph Bouton, began taking hikes on the second Thursday of the month and inviting our church family and friends to join us.
Over the year, our hikes have included places like Bearwallow Mountain, Table Rock’s Carrick Creek and Pinnacle trails, Tallulah Gorge, Oconee Station, Keowee-Toxaway, Wildcat Falls, and more, plus a few rainy-day treks on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. If you enjoy the outdoors, are comfortable hiking 2–4 miles off the beaten path over moderately rough terrain and can find the time on the second Thursday of the month, we’d love for you to join us on our next adventure. Special thanks to all who have helped make this group such a success.
Let’s Take a Hike!
