First Baptist Greenville

We wintered in January. We slowly shook off our hibernating habits in February. So, what do we do in March? We Get Moving! With the weather warming and the sun giving us some much-needed vitamin D, it is the perfect time to start moving our bodies in one way or another.

To help you make some moves this month, the AYMC Fitness Staff is providing multiple opportunities to Get Moving! On Friday, March 6, we will be participating in the Engaged Aging Lunch & More offering a panel Q & A with our personal trainers and fitness instructors. Each staff member has a unique story to tell and professional perspective to share, along with lots of encouragement and information related to the importance of prioritizing our physical health. To follow up on this event, we are offering weekly classes each Tuesday in March (10, 17, 24, 31) from 10:00am to 11:00am so you can try a variety of classes and workouts that the AYMC instructors offer. We will have classes ranging from Tai Chi to Yoga to Cross Fit. These classes are free and we encourage you to bring a friend! More information to follow on Instagram @aymc_fbg.

Whether you’re a beginner or an original AYMC member, join us for these special events in March so we can all Get Moving together!

PLEASE NOTE: The AYMC Fitness Center, Walking Track and Main Gym will be CLOSED for gym floor maintenance from Monday, March 16 to Tuesday, March 23. We are hoping to open on Wednesday, March 24 if the gym floors are done and the smell is gone. Senior Exercise and Pickleball that week will still be held in the Fellowship Hall and Practice Gym.
