It’s hard to believe that I’ve been at First Baptist Greenville for three months. Everyone has been welcoming and supportive during this transition, and my husband, Greg, and I are enjoying meeting many new folks and getting to know more about the church and its ministries.
Singing is one of the best ways we connect to God—whether we sing a song of praise, a lament, a cry for help, or a solemn grateful thanks—song most often expresses what mere words cannot. It’s such an honor and true blessing for me to be able to make music with the children, youth and adults at First Baptist Greenville, and each of our choirs and bell groups are always welcoming of new members.
