Fundraising Week for Youth Missions!

This week, our Youth Family kicks off “Youth Missions Awareness Week” to build community, connect the youth and wider congregation, raise awareness about youth missions initiatives, and support our ongoing and future missions endeavors.
Yesterday, we launched our $1 to $200 envelope fundraiser of the week. In the Narthex, you will find two bulletin boards full of envelopes numbered $1 to $200. We are encouraging our church family and community members to choose an envelope, place the corresponding dollar amount of money inside, and return the envelope by Sunday, March 3, which is Youth Sunday. You can access envelopes all week long by visiting the Front Office M-F, 9am-5pm. Cash and checks are welcome. Feel free to take multiple envelopes!

You can support Youth Missions all week long by eating at local restaurants! We are hosting profit shares at the following locations, and we hope to see you there! Invite your friends and family to meet you there and let them know the profits raised are for missions! At all these locations, please tell them “First Baptist Greenville” so we will get credit!

February 27: Moe’s on Augusta Street, 5-8 pm
Tell them “First Baptist Greenville”
February 28: Barberitos on S. Pleasantburg, 5-8 pm
Tell them “First Baptist Greenville”
March 2: Panera Bread on Haywood, 4-8 pm

On Friday, March 1, Parents and Friends of FBG Children & Youth are invited to a Social & Dinner Party at the home of the Johnstones. Please follow the link to RSVP and purchase a $40 ticket which includes Tropical Grille and a variety of beverages!

Finally, join us on Sunday, March 3, for Youth Sunday Worship! It will be a great celebration as our youth lead us in worship! You will not want to miss this wonderful opportunity to support our youth as they lead in all aspects of our worship service.
