After a busy summer of service, fellowship and fun, we are excited for all that fall has to offer!

Promotion Sunday—August 21

Pancake Breakfast: 9:15am in “The Grove” at the AYMC
The Youth Family is invited to an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. We will welcome new sixth graders to The Grove for the first time and introduce Sunday School teachers.

Blessing of the Backpacks: 10:30am during the Worship Service
Join us in the Youth Pews and don’t forget to bring the bag (knapsack, totebag, sports duffel) that will help get you through the year.

New Parent Meeting: 4:00pm in the Media Center
For parents of rising sixth graders and students new to the Youth Family; we will discuss schedules, paperwork, activities and trips for the year ahead.

Block Party: 5:00-7:00pm in and around the Fellowship Hall
ALL youth members and their families are invited to this—the biggest celebration of the year. Feel free to invite friends and anyone you think might love joining the Youth Family.

All Youth Fall Retreat at Camp Rockmont—September 3-5

Rockmont is a special time in the life of our Youth Family, when we catch our breath after a very busy start of school and fall schedules. Here, we will introduce our yearly theme, enjoy tons of fun activities, and grow stronger as a Youth Family. It is an important part of every year and of every youth’s journey with our community, so please make plans for your youth to attend this weekend! Register now!

Fellowship Meal, 5:50-6:10pm

High School Bible Study/Middle School Games, 6:15-7:00pm
