The church staff and ministers continue to keep the church family in our prayers and on our hearts. We know that this has been such a difficult time for so many, and we have been encouraged by the ways that our community has come together to care for one another and seek ways to support surrounding areas that have been impacted in unfathomable ways.

As communication in the Upstate continues to improve, we want to reach out to you and let you know that we are here. If you need resources for you or your family as we navigate what has happened, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You are not alone, and we hope that you will let us know how we can support you and your family.

We all know recovery for our neighborhoods and nearby states will likely be a long process. There will be ample ways for us to serve together in the weeks, months and years ahead. Staff members are in contact with various organizations and ministry partners to explore ways for us to best serve our community.

In the meantime, let’s continue to find ways to intentionally pray for and care for one another, our community, and other areas affected by Hurricane Helene. Let us remember those who are working tirelessly and will continue to do so during this crisis to bring about restoration and hope. Let us be willing to support these efforts in whatever ways that we can and above all else, let us remember that the God of hope is with us through it all.

With Love,
The Staff of FBG
