Neighborhood Partnership Yard Sale

About the Yard Sale

Every year in the spring, First Baptist Greenville holds the Neighborhood Partnership Yard Sale. Throughout the year, volunteers are collecting furniture, office equipment, appliances, books, exercise equipment, silverware, china, toys, and other household items to sell at the annual yard sale. Proceeds from the sale are used to support Neighborhood Partnership Missions, a ministry that includes helping with home renovation, handicap ramps, painting, yard work, and emergency needs in the communities nearby.

Volunteering

The Neighborhood Partnership Yard Sale couldn’t happen without its volunteers. Throughout the year, volunteers are picking up furniture and other items from homes, pricing items, and organizing. There are even more volunteer opportunities in the weeks leading up to the yard sale and especially on the Friday and Saturday of the yard sale. Volunteer Opportunities:
Pick up furniture and bring to the church – any time
Washing and polishing – any time

Ongoing pricing – any time
Inasmuch Day – March 2
Moving items and tables – week before
Organizing items – week before
Carrying items to cars – day of
Cashiers – day of
Floaters/sellers on the floor – day of
Parking lot helpers – day of
Clean up – Saturday afternoon
