United Way’s “School Tools”

“School Tools” is designed to provide underprivileged students in the Greenville area with school supplies to start the school year. Last year, due to the generosity of our community, the United Way was able to give backpacks and school supplies to over 2200 students at 131 schools and Head Start programs on their “School Tools” distribution day.

You can help! During the month of July, pick up a “School Tools” paper bag at the table near the Reception Desk. Attached to each bag will be a brief description of a student and a list of suggested school supplies that child will need. Have fun shopping and fill the brown bag with school tools. Purchasing a backpack is not required but all donated backpacks are greatly appreciated. Please return the backpacks and filled bags to the Reception Desk area table by Sunday, August 5.

We have requested 150 bags to help the underprivileged children of our community. Thanks in advance for your generosity!
