Homelessness is on the rise around the country, including in Greenville. Despite the statistics, homelessness is solvable when we join together as a connected community. This is where you come in! The Greenville Homeless Alliance (GHA), a First Baptist Greenville partner organization, will lead a presentation in the Fellowship Hall during the Sunday School hour on Sunday, June 2. This presentation will equip you to advocate around GHA’s Advocacy Agenda. You’ll learn more about how GOAL Justice is involved and who is experiencing homelessness in Greenville County and build your skills around collective action to increase options for people who are seeking stability. Attendees will leave with a seven-day workbook created by GHA to help you reflect and continue learning. All adult Sunday School classes are invited to participate! Come early for coffee and fellowship at 9:15am. The GHA presentation will begin at 9:30am.
