Mission Backpack is a ministry designed to ensure that students affected by food insecurity have essential weekend sustenance throughout the school year. Each week volunteers purchase food items at local stores, pack them into bags and deliver them to schools to be put into the hands of students every Friday afternoon. One of the items that the bags contain is individual pop-top cans of ravioli. In order to prepare for the school year ahead, we are asking the congregation for donations of these cans of pasta. If you would like to help with this ministry, please bring your donations to the Reception Area of the church and place them in the bins provided during the month of August. As always, thank you so much for your generosity to our community.
