Thank you for helping celebrate my retirement, along with others, with the warm reception a few weeks ago. The food, cards, and fellowship with friends created a wonderful afternoon of celebration. And, the love gift was very generous and much appreciated. First Baptist has been my “home” for 43 years as a member and 27 of those years in a professional role. Although my professional time here is ending, I look forward to continuing to worship alongside you in the coming years.
With love and gratitude,
Dear First Baptist members,
I want to express my appreciation for the beautiful ways in which you recognized my retirement as co-director of First Baptist Day School. I have read each card many times, and your words truly warm my heart. I was absolutely overwhelmed with the generosity of your love gift!
I am eternally grateful to all of you for supporting my work as director of the Infant-Toddler Program and then as co-director of First Baptist Day School. This work has been my passion and one of the greatest joys of my life. I will treasure all of the sweet relationships with the children, families, teachers and church members and staff over the past 36 years. I look forward to FBDS continuing as a school of excellence for our youngest children, and I will embrace the opportunities the next season of my life may bring.
With much love and gratitude,
