YouthBASE is one of this congregation’s nonprofit partners in the area, and they are one of our annual grant recipients through the gifts of the Faith Fund. They work with children and their families to build these skills through after-school and summer programs that provide academic support to help children reach grade-level proficiency by 3rd grade as well as behavioral and emotional support to help children grow and achieve their fullest potential. YouthBASE’s mission is to equip children in K5 through 2nd grade with behavioral, academic, social and emotional (BASE) skills they need in order to succeed at school, at home, and in the community.
