The Missions & Affiliations Committee would like to extend a huge “Thank You” to all of you for your outpouring of generosity in 2024 for the monthly Mission Box. Your donations helped to support many of our local non-profits, such as Jasmine Road, YouthBASE and United Ministries. You donated school supplies for United Way’s School Tools event, which ensures our students have the supplies they need to start school. Your donations also helped to fill our Mission Backpack food bags, which are taken to 3 local schools every week to make sure students in need have enough to eat over the weekend. We can’t thank you enough!

For January we will collect items for YouthBASE (www.youthbase.org), which is a Greenville non-profit whose mission is to equip children in K5 through 2nd grade with behavioral, academic, social and emotional (BASE) skills they need in order to succeed at school, at home, and in the community. YouthBASE works with children and their families to build these skills through after-school and summer programs that provide academic support to help children to reach grade-level proficiency by 3rd grade, as well as behavioral and emotional support to help children grow and achieve their fullest potential.
