Happy February! This is the time of year we are usually in full swing with Inasmuch Day registration! While we are taking this year off from our usual churchwide day of local missions, we hope you will find ways to learn about and support the organizations we have been honored to serve alongside in the past. Go to https://firstbaptistgreenville.com/thanks/ for a look at last year. Also, check The Branch and FBG website each month for our missions focus collection (https://firstbaptistgreenville.com/missions/) and continue bringing your canned fruit donations each week. We look forward to announcing our 2022 Inasmuch Day date in the coming months—stay tuned!
As you think about February and the life of our church, I hope Foundation Sunday also comes to mind. Each year, we celebrate the incredible gifts the Foundation has provided since its founding in 1992. The Missions and Affiliations Committee is pleased to share the beneficiaries of the 2020 Foundation mission funds, which totaled just over $100,000:
  • Amani Sasa (Uganda)
  • FBG mission trip scholarships
  • Fostering Great Ideas
  • Iglesia Bautisa del Camino (Guanajay, Cuba)
  • Jasmine Road
  • Koinonia of Columbia
  • Loaves & Fishes
  • Mayan Intercultural Seminary (Mexico)
  • Mental Health America Greenville
  • Mere Christianity Forum
  • Ministry of Rick and Lita Sample (California)
  • Momentum Bike Clubs
  • Partners in Literacy Haiti
  • Pendleton Place
  • Pride Link
  • Project Host
  • Sustaining Way
  • United Ministries
  • West Greenville School
  • YouthBASE
If you would like more information on these organizations or how to get involved in FBG missions, contact me via email or 233-2527 ext. 145.
