Two Wednesday night gatherings remain in 2024: this Wednesday, December 4, and next week, December 11. This Wednesday, December 4, all adults are invited to attend a special “Gathering for Hope and Healing” in the Fellowship Hall at 6pm. We will dedicate our time to reflection, prayer and solidarity with those in grief this holiday season (and perhaps kindness for ourselves, too). This gathering will also include communion around the table and the chance to engage service projects for our Local Relief ministry. All are invited to join this gathering to center ourselves in community before the busyness of the holiday season.
Next week, celebrate the Advent season with your church family at our MidWeek Advent Party! Wear your favorite Christmas sweater or festive raiment! One attendee will win a prize for “Most Festive Outfit.” We’ll have an hour of fun with Christmas music, carol sing-alongs, games and a Christmas dessert from Uptown Catering.
Supper will be served as usual, from 5-6pm in the Fellowship Hall, on both weeks. Go to https://firstbaptistgreenville.com/wednesdays-at-first/ to make supper reservations.
