We are kicking off this MidWeek season with three fabulous groups. Enjoy supper and prayer time from 5-6pm in the Fellowship Hall (adult meals are $8, child meals are $5, and visitors are free) before breaking to attend one of three learning/fellowship options. Read course descriptions provided by their leaders—the hardest part will be choosing where to go!

“As a child, my ideas about heaven were shaped by hymns like “I’ll Fly Away” and “I’ve Got a Mansion,” while my understanding of hell was influenced by frightening sermons about souls facing eternal punishment. In this series, we will explore the historical development of these concepts and delve into what Scripture reveals (or doesn’t reveal) about the afterlife. Since none of us have experienced the afterlife, and we can’t know for sure, we will approach the subject with humility and curiosity.” —Carol McEntyre
“Come experience the fun of handbell ringing! You don’t need to have any musical background to learn to ring bells. We’ll meet together the first Wednesday in September in the Media Center and make a joyful noise! Maybe even by the last Wednesday we’ll be ringing a song together!” —Julie Treu
“Pickleball, the fastest growing sport in the world, is also one of the easiest to learn! It’s a hybrid of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. All you need is a bit of hand-eye coordination and the ability to mosey or run short distances. You need only bring comfortable clothes, tennis shoes and a smile. We’ll do and supply the rest.” —Rob Pyett
