Stations of the Cross – Carpenter Chapel

The 14 Stations of the Cross – artistic renderings of specific moments from the last day of Jesus’ life – hang in the Carpenter Chapel of First Baptist Greenville. Members of our church and community are always welcome to take a prayer guide at the chapel’s entrance and prayerfully walk the stations alone whenever the church is open. On Good Friday, April 15, Dr. Jim Dant – Senior Minister of First Baptist Greenville – will be leading groups through the Stations of the Cross. Participants may come at 8:00 am, Noon, or 5:00 pm. If you would like to be part of this prayer experience, please register below. At your chosen time, please enter through the chapel doors at the base of the church’s bell tower.

Easter Sunday worship – Sanctuary at 10:30am

Easter Sunday has traditionally been a Sunday of baptism in the history of the church. Our Easter celebration will follow that cherished model. We will gather in the sanctuary for an hour of music, sermon, litany, and baptisms. We will hear the words often spoken over these holy waters, “You are buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life. Hallelujah!”
