Easter came a little early this year for our homebound and members in assisted living when church members delivered candy bags straight to their doors! This year, 15 church members volunteered to deliver more than 70 Easter bags prepared by the Congregational Care team, driving as far as Clemson and Pelzer to make sure recipients knew they were loved and remembered this season.
A huge thank you to the team of organizers, delivery drivers, and warm hearts who rose magnificently to the occasion. What a delight it is to be part of a community that cares for one another!
If you are interested in helping with the next round of home deliveries (late summer), please contact Ryland via email or call 864-233-2527. The Congregational Care team always welcomes volunteers interested in showing God’s love to members who may not be able to attend worship on Sunday through home visits, calls, cards, and gift deliveries.
