“Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.” (John 20:1)

“After the Sabbath, at dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.” (Matthew 28:1)

“Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb.” (Mark 16:2)

“On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.” (Luke 24:1)

This Easter morning, walk the path to the tomb as Mary Magdalene did—in the early morning. Join us for two outdoor worship services:

Sunrise Easter Service, 7:00am, March 31, Columbarium
This short service of prayer, song, reflection and light is led by the Spiritual Formation Committee. In case of inclement weather, we will gather in the AYMC to watch the sunrise over the Reedy River.

Garden Easter Service, 8:30am, March 31, Labyrinth
This family-centered worship service is designed for children and adults and will include show and tell, music, flowers and a special benediction surprise! In case of rain, this service will be held in the Parlor.

Following the Garden Easter Service, stay for a continental breakfast in the Parlor from 9:30-10:00am. All church members and community members are enthusiastically invited to attend these special services!
