Engaged Aging Hike at Table Rock State Park, Thursday, December 12
We hope you will join us for another great hike. You can meet at the church at 9:30am if you want to ride the church bus (please bring $5 to help cover the cost of gas). If you want to meet us there, we will meet at 11am at the Nature Center in Table Rock State Park parking lot. (If you do not have a State Park parking pass, there will be a $6 per person fee for parking.) Our first hike will be a moderate 2-mile Carrick Creek trail loop. We will return to the parking lot around noon to enjoy a picnic lunch (bring your own) near Pinnacle Lake. At 1pm, we will hike the easy 2-mile loop around Pinnacle Lake. While both hikes are rated moderate or less, they do contain uneven ground, rock crossings, and elevation gains. Please plan accordingly. We expect to be back at the church between 3:30 and 4:00pm. Let’s take a hike!

Roadrunners “Home for Christmas” Gathering, December 15, Noon-3:00pm
Fellowship Hall
Join us for an afternoon of holiday festivities! Enjoy some Christmas cheer as we gather to eat lunch ($8) after the service and have some seasonal fun. The Roadrunners are staying home in December to attend the Bell Tower Ringers concert at 3:00pm—but plan to enjoy some food and festivities before we go. Plan on a variety of games and activities along with our White Elephant Gift Exchange. We are asking those that attend to bring a fun gift to give away (maybe around $10). We will head over to the Sanctuary a little before 3:00pm to find our seats. We hope you will join us for a new Christmas tradition.
