Explore Your Vocation

This deacons’ retreat is set for Saturday, February 9. During this morning retreat, we will explore what it means to reflect on your vocation, or sense of calling. The retreat will include reflective exercises, presentations and discussion. There will be an additional focus on tools and resources to help you better explore your gifts, talents, and strengths and how an awareness of these can be especially important as you live out your calling(s) in community and leadership settings. Breakfast is at 8:45 and we will conclude by 12:30. (Lunch is not included.)
The retreat will be held in the downstairs AYMC. Cost is $20/person.
Our retreat leader is Eric Cain.
Eric Cain is Director for the Cothran Center for Vocational Reflection at Furman University. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville and is part of the Gayle Price Community Group. Eric is an ordained Baptist minister and he helps provide leadership for Clergy Affiliate Information & Resource Network (CAIRN) of the Alliance of Baptists.
