Our theme is Creation Calls and I Must Go. Our Senior Minister Carol McEntyre will be the featured speaker with music by Kiddo Grandes (Tom and Corbin Baker)—North Georgia, sho’ nuff, mountain musicians.

Sessions begin Friday evening and culminate in worship on Sunday morning. There will be a bonfire and smores on Friday night and a party on Saturday evening with line dancing! Saturday afternoon will include a choose-your-own-family adventure with several options, such as a staff-led hike. During afternoon free time, the children and youth will have a scheduled activity so that parents can have a bit of downtime. All on-site meals, lodging, sessions and entertainment are included in the retreat price. Register today! (https://firstbaptistgreenville.com/church-retreat-2024-creation-calls-and-i-must-go/)
Attendees will be housed in the Terrace Hotel at Lake Junaluska. Visit their website to learn more about the hotel and the property.

Many people today find solace in nature, but for people of faith, nature is more than just a peaceful escape—it is God’s creation. As Psalm 19 beautifully reminds us, “The heavens declare the glory of God.” When we spend time in nature, we are not merely appreciating its beauty; we are witnessing the work of the Creator. Our theme, Creation Calls and I Must Go, invites you to slow down, listen and find joy and meaning in the natural world while grounding that experience in a deeper relationship with the Creator.
