We hope that you will join us on Sunday, May 5, for Children’s Sabbath! Our children will be leading us in worship as we think about God’s Neighborhood and how to be better neighbors. The children are hard at work writing prayers, working on music, and so much more. See below how your child/grandchild can participate!

Birth through 3K—Parents/Guardians and children are invited to join us for the processional and then the Children’s Sermon happening at the beginning of the service. After the Children’s Sermon, these children can be taken to Worship Care or stay in the service.

4K/K5—Children in this age group will be singing in our worship service. These friends will stay together with their choir leaders during the service. We will not have Worship Care on Children’s Sabbath for this age group.

First through Fifth Graders—Children in this age group are leading in a variety of ways. There are opportunities for speaking and non-speaking leadership roles. We are particularly grateful for the care, dedication, and leadership that this group has shown in this process.

Afterwards, children of all ages and their families are invited to join us for a catered lunch in the Fellowship Hall and then stay for a visit from the Kona Ice Truck. Please make sure to let me know that you plan on attending so that we have enough food.

—Grace and Peace,
Bridget Kokolis, Minister to Children
