With in-person worship starting back in a few weeks, First Baptist will continue collecting canned fruit for the United Ministries Food Pantry. We’d like to encourage you to bring canned fruit donations to three drop-off locations on our campus:
• Front Desk (Mondays-Fridays, 9am-5pm)
• Fellowship Hall Lobby (Mondays-Fridays, 9am-5pm)
• AYMC Lobby (Mondays-Fridays, 8am-Noon)
Please also consider bringing fruit donations when you visit campus for worship on Sundays and Wednesdays beginning April 18. You may also order online and ship directly to United Ministries through their Amazon wish list.
We have continued to collect fruit throughout the pandemic, thanks to a wonderful team of volunteers who gathered the fruit donations each month and delivered them to United Ministries on behalf of our congregation. If you are interested in joining this Fruit Collection team, please email Clay Gilbert for more information.
Thank you for your continued generosity in providing canned fruit for our neighbors through the United Ministries food pantry! For more information about the impact this organization is making in our community, visit united-ministries.org/crisis-assistance.
