As one of the leading literacy programs in the country, Greenville Literacy Association (https://www.greenvilleliteracy.org/) is dedicated to serving and educating adults from a vast array of income levels, races, ethnicities, educational backgrounds, and ages. From GED preparation to workplace readiness, GLA offers a number of different services to our community in hopes of increasing adults’ basic educational skills and resulting quality of life. One key effort toward funding these programs is their annual book sale, which will occur August 12-14 this year. To help make this event a success, our church is collecting new and gently-used books for the sale throughout the month of June. Their guidelines for what they can and cannot accept are listed in the graphic below.

If you wish to donate any accepted books (based on the guidelines included), you may bring these items to the church Reception Area any time throughout the month on Monday–Friday (9am-5pm) or any Sunday morning in June.

Please contact Laura Stout with any questions.
