As part of our June 12 worship service, we’ll be commissioning mission teams of our children and youth. We hope you’ll join us in blessing these young people and affirming their God-given gifts as they prepare to immerse themselves in God’s good work this summer.

During our Missions Weeks, our children will be working with different helping organizations, learning Bible verses, and enjoying related picture books, as well as journaling and reflecting on the connections they’re making between scripture and their own experiences in service to others.

At the end of July, our high school youth will be serving with Together for Hope and Delta Hands for Hope in Shaw, Mississippi. Together for Hope is a rural development coalition engaging the 301 counties of persistent rural poverty in America. The Delta is Together for Hope’s largest region of service and includes 87 counties of persistent rural poverty across 7 states. Their goal includes the utilization of local assets, empowered people, and communities that are self-sustaining. We are partnering with Delta Hands for Hope for our week of mission work and immersion. Their mission is to empower all children to have the education, leadership skills, and abilities to succeed. We are looking forward to an educational and impactful week of mission and immersion with these two organizations!

Join us in Worship in June 12 to bless all of our mission teams for the summer!
