Rev. Alfred Johnson, pastor at Church Without Walls, was asked by the principal at Grove Elementary School in Greenville to start a program for the boys at the school. In the words of Rev. Johnson, he wanted “to help them to become men.” Rev. Johnson calls the program The Excalibur Project, and its focus is to teach character development and life skills and to promote academic success. Some of the skills that he teaches include how to shake hands and good manners, how to set goals and work toward them, and steps for achieving academic success. The program will be ongoing and will include all the boys enrolled at Grove Elementary.

As a part of the program, Rev. Johnson would like the boys to dress for success. He would like them to have a suit or a blazer and khaki pants, including a tie. If you would like to help Rev. Johnson with this project, please consider donating any dress clothing, sizes 6-8 through 14-16, that your children or grandchildren may have outgrown or drop by your local Miracle Hill or favorite thrift store.

Please bring any of these items you would like to donate to the Reception Area of the church during the month of April.

Thank you for your generous support!

If you are interested in helping with this ministry and would like to make a financial contribution, please write a check to Greenville Church Without Walls and send it to Rev. Alfred Johnson at 312 Jacqueline Ln, Greenville SC 29607.
