After a tumultuous start to the month, our community could use a little fun. The whole church and wider community are invited to the fall Church Picnic on Sunday, October 20, 4-7pm. This year’s picnic will be in the FBG garden and parking lots near the playgrounds. In a major change from previous years, the picnic is FREE to attend, and tickets/registration are NOT required.
Meals will be available for purchase. Uptown Catering will serve boxed meals of fried chicken or pulled pork barbeque, mac and cheese, baked beans, street corn and coleslaw. Meals are $10 for adults and $8 for children under 12. Bring cash or card if you plan to purchase a meal. Please feel free to bring your own picnic meal if you prefer!
Attendees will enjoy music from the Brooks Dixon Band, free popsicles from Common Pops, and free activities for children and youth.
Bring a camp chair or picnic blanket to set up in the shade to enjoy music, yard games and conversation. We’re excited to have some fun together and enjoy the season! In case of inclement weather, picnic activities will be held in the AYMC.
