“How to End Christian Nationalism” Book Tour Comes to FBG

Date: Tuesday, February 11, 6:30pm

Location: FBG Sanctuary

Amanda Tyler, Executive Director of the Baptist Joint Committee on Religious Freedom, is bringing her book tour to Greenville and FBG! Her 2024 book, How to End Christian Nationalism, is the essential guidebook for Christians alarmed by the rising tide of Christian nationalism yet unsure how to counter it. Join Amanda for a timely discussion about the threat of this dangerous ideology and learn about how she drew on her experiences, conversations with pastors and laypeople, research, Scripture, and her Baptist convictions to write this new book. The Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty is committed to the historic Baptist principles of defending the free exercise of religion and protecting against its establishment by government and is a longtime partner organization of FBG.

The evening will consist of a reading from How to End Christian Nationalism, a conversation with Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Carol McEntyre, facilitated Q+A, and a book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

This event is free to attend, though registration is required.
