Abraham Build focuses on “promoting Interfaith dialogue” by combining local Muslim, Jewish and Christian volunteers on the same build site. This build strives to bring these faith communities together to foster dialogue and a deeper understanding of their varying faiths through the joint construction of a Habitat home.

End Date: December 22

Location: Nicholtown Community (parking at 502 Ramsey Dr., Greenville)

Experience level: None necessary! Ages 15 and up welcomed

Shifts: Abraham Builds are designated for specific Thursdays and Saturdays.
• Full-day shifts are 8:00am-3:30pm.
• Half-day shifts are 8:00am-12:00noon and 11:30am-3:30pm (lunch provided; plan to eat lunch on site)

Work type: Depends on the stage of the project but will include tasks like framing walls, siding installation, trim work, painting, shelving hardware install and landscaping
