We will have professional, unbiased counselors from SHIP, the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, and the Appalachian Council of Governments leading our programming. Whether you are already on Medicare, will be soon, or have a parent/ grandparent who is eligible, I encourage you to join us for this conversation. Recently I learned just how important this topic is when my dad experienced medical emergencies and the need for ongoing care. This is a topic you cannot know too much about and that can save you time, money and frustration in the future, so I encourage you to register now!\nDid You Know?\n•If you are eligible for Medicare, you are eligible for SHIP counseling\n•SHIP counseling is a free service\n•Medicare health and drug plans can change each year regarding cost, coverage and what providers and pharmacies are in a beneficiary’s network.
