Youth Sunday, February 11
We are unique children of God, and we are called to offer our uniqueness to God. You Be U is an empowering statement that offers students the freedom to be called to love and serve God’s world with their own gifts and giftedness and to offer that same freedom to those around them.
Join us on Sunday, February 11, for a moving Youth Sunday worship as our youth join Katrice Hardy in leading and challenging us in worship and continue our theme for the month —Black History, Black Future.
Our youth are working hard to bring their voices and diverse backgrounds to worship to encourage us to be ourselves and own who we are created to be and to help others to find the strength to do likewise while reminding us of our loving God who leads and supports us in this difficult world.
All of our Youth Family members are invited and encouraged to wear their Youth Family t-shirt and participate by sitting together in our youth pews, collecting offering, being greeters or leading in worship. We want everyone to be there for this special Youth Sunday worship service. Contact me to purchase a Youth Family t-shirt for $10 and for more information about Youth Sunday.
