First Baptist Greenville’s Parent/Youth night Sunday, August 23, at 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall is an important event to inform parents and youth on the upcoming weekly events, annual retreats, annual mission trip, and Unidiversity Youth Camp for 2015-2016. Annual events will not be the only items announced. There will be other opportunities for our students to be involved in their Youth Family throughout this school year on Wednesday and Sunday nights through missions, worship and ministry in and around our community.
All youth families are encouraged to attend this event and asked to consider bringing any friends or families who could benefit from learning about our Youth Ministry. Many of our youth have friends and families who regularly attend our events, and some may not have a church youth group of their own. All are welcome. All are invited!
Each year, we welcome a new class of 6th graders into our group, and it is important to be ever mindful of how we can do ministry better together as parents, youth and ministers. My desire is to offer a deep, fulfilling, meaningful and spirit-filled Youth Ministry. Our youth families are invited to use this time to listen, learn and partner with me in this ministry. Come learn the vision for FBG’s Youth Family, get to know our Youth Ministry Staff and learn about our passion of working with your youth!
